  47. 1. DEFINITIONS
  48.  
  49. "RegSupreme" means the 'RegSupreme' (also 'Registry Supreme') 
  50.   software product and everything included in its official 
  51.   distribution packages, such as the documentation, all the plug-in
  52.   applications and all the other such modules.
  53.  
  54. "Trial version" means the free, unlicensed and time limited 
  55.   edition of RegSupreme that can freely be downloaded 
  56.   from Macecraft Software's official web site (www.macecraft.com).
  57.  
  58. "official distribution package" means a package file, such as .zip or
  59.   .rar archive or a self extracting ("SFX") version of such archive, or
  60.   an installation program containing RegSupreme which can be
  61.   downloaded from Macecraft Software's official home page www.macecraft.com.
  62.  
  63. "license agreement" means this document. This license agreement is a
  64.   legal agreement between you (individual or a legal entity) and
  65.   Macecraft Software.
  66.   You must accept all the terms in this license agreement and the
  67.   limitations of your license if you want to use, run, copy or
  68.   distribute RegSupreme.
  69.  
  70. "license" means a legal right to fully use RegSupreme. The license
  71.   must be bought before you are allowed to use RegSupreme more than
  72.   its trial period of 30 days.
  73.  
  74. "Amount of computers this product can be used with" means all kinds of use,
  75.   such as usage over a network connection or usage from a cd-rom or other
  76.   such media.

  79. 2. WARNING
  80.  
  81. RegSupreme is protected by copyright laws and international
  82. copyright treaties as well as other intellectual property laws and
  83. treaties. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution of the
  84. RegSupremes, or any portion of it, may result in severe criminal
  85. and civil penalties, and will be prosecuted to the maximum extent
  86. possible under law.

  89. 3. OWNERSHIP
  90.  
  91. RegSupreme is proprietary to Macecraft Software.
  92. The product is licensed, not sold, to you
  93. notwithstanding any reference herein to "purchases".
  94.    
  95. You acknowledge and agree that: 
  96. 1. RegSupreme is protected under U.S. copyright and other laws.
  97. 2. Macecraft Software and its licensors retain all copyrights 
  98.    and other intellectual property rights in the RegSupreme.
  99. 3. There are no implied licenses under this License, 
  100.    and any rights not expressly granted to you hereunder are 
  101.    reserved by Macecraft Software.
  102. 4. You acquire no ownership or other interest
  103.    (other than your license rights) in or to RegSupreme. 
  104. 5. Macecraft Software owns all copies of the RegSupreme, however made.  
  105.  
  106. You agree that you will not, at any time, contest anywhere in 
  107. the world Macecraft Software's ownership of the RegSupreme,
  108. nor will you challenge the validity of Macecraft Software's rights 
  109. in the RegSupreme. You have no rights hereunder to use any
  110. trademark or service mark belonging to Macecraft Software.

  113. 4. GRANT OF LICENSE
  114.  
  115. Macecraft Software is only willing to grant you these rights 
  116. if you obtained RegSupreme from Macecraft Software or a 
  117. Macecraft Software authorized reseller. If you obtained RegSupreme
  118. from any other source you may not install or use the RegSupreme.
  119.  
  120. Macecraft Software grants you the following rights provided that you
  121. comply with all terms and conditions of this License Agreement:
  122.  
  123.   1. Usage. You may install, use, access and run RegSupreme
  124.      in one computer unit.
  125.  
  126.   2. Personal usage. If you, or the company you work for, owns a license 
  127.      for RegSupreme you may also in that case install, use, 
  128.      access and run RegSupreme in your home computer under the 
  129.      same license. In such case, your home computer must be used only
  130.      by you, the members of your family and your friends.
  131.  
  132.   3. Privacy. Macecraft Software hasn't implemented any mechanism to 
  133.      RegSupreme which collects sensitive information from your 
  134.      computer and its users withour your knowledge and then automatically
  135.      sends the information to Macecraft Software.
  136.  
  137.   4. Basic security. Macecraft Software hasn't implemented any mechanism, 
  138.      protocol, method or algorithm ("Trojan Horse" / "Backdoor") which would allow
  139.      Macecraft Software to take full control of your computer without 
  140.      your knowledge or permission.

  142.  
  143. 5. RESTRICTIONS AND LIMITATIONS OF USE
  144.  
  145. You are NOT allowed to:
  146.  
  147.   1. Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise
  148.      attempt to reconstruct or discover the source code, or any parts
  149.      of it, or discover or reconstruct any mechanism, algorithm or
  150.      a protocol from the binaries of RegSupreme.
  151.  
  152.   2. Reverse engineer or otherwise attempt to reconstruct or 
  153.      discover the source code, or any parts of it, or discover 
  154.      or reconstruct any mechanism, algorithm or a protocol from 
  155.      the RegSupreme by running any kind of special
  156.      monitoring software, such as registry monitoring software, 
  157.      or analysing software, such as SoftIce or other such tool.
  158.  
  159.   3. Create, develope, distribute, use, install or store in your
  160.      computer a program, source code, mechanism, method, protocol or
  161.      algorithm to bypass or to brake RegSupreme's security
  162.      features, license validation, license creation methods or algorithms.
  163.  
  164.   4. Create derivative works based on RegSupreme (e.g. incorporating
  165.      RegSupreme in a commercial product or service without a proper
  166.      license), except that you may create bug fixes and translations.
  167.  
  168.   5. Rent, lease, sublicense, convey, distribute or otherwise
  169.      transfer rights to RegSupreme without a written permission
  170.      from Macecraft Software.
  171.  
  172.   6. Remove any product identification, copyright, proprietary
  173.      notices or labels from RegSupreme.
  174.  
  175.   7. Distribute, re-distribute, rent, lease or sell the licensed
  176.      version of RegSupreme or any portions of it or the license
  177.      itself or any portions of the license without a written permission
  178.      from Macecraft Software.
  179.  
  180.   8. Sell, re-sell, rent or lease RegSupreme, any portions
  181.      of it or its license or any portions of a license without
  182.      written permission from Macecraft Software.
  183.  
  184.   9. Distribute RegSupreme in any other form than in the
  185.      official distribution packages without a written permission
  186.      from Macecraft Software.
  187.  
  188.   10. Use the licensed version of RegSupreme if you do not
  189.       have a valid license or if you do not know who has bought the 
  190.       license or if you know that the copy you are using is illegal 
  191.       or the license itself is illegalor faked.
  192.  
  193.   11. Use, run, copy, distribute or store RegSupreme in your computer
  194.       if this license agreement is violated in any ways.

  198. 6. TERMINATION OF LICENSE
  199.  
  200. Macecraft Software has the right to terminate this license if you do
  201. not abide by the terms and conditions of this license,
  202. in which case you must destroy all copies of RegSupreme
  203. and all of its component parts.

  205.  
  206. 7. MAINTENANCE, SUPPORT AND UPDATES
  207.  
  208. Macecraft Software is under no obligation to maintain, support or
  209. update RegSupreme in any way, or to provide updates or error
  210. corrections.
  211.  
  212. However, if you have purchased technical support from Macecraft Software
  213. for this product will Macecraft Software then provide technical assistance 
  214. according to the terms of the contract.
  215.  
  216.  
  217. 8. CONFIDENTIALITY
  218.  
  219. Licensed version of RegSupreme and any license authorization
  220. codes (such as the "license.dat" file) are confidential. You agree to take
  221. adequate steps to protect RegSupreme and any license authorization
  222. codes and "license.dat" file from unauthorized disclosure or use.
  223. You agree that you will not disclose the licensed version of
  224. RegSupreme, any parts of it, its license or any parts of the
  225. license to any third party.

  228. 9. DISCLAIMER
  229.  
  230. Macecraft Software expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express, 
  231. implied or statutory, including, without limitation, the implied 
  232. warranties of merchantability, of fitness for a particular purpose, 
  233. noninfringement of third party intellectual property rights, and any 
  234. warranty that may arise by reason of trade usage, custom, or course of 
  235. dealing. Without limiting the foregoing, you acknowledge that 
  236. RegSupreme is provided "as is" and that Macecraft Software 
  237. does not warrant that RegSupreme will run uninterrupted or error 
  238. free nor that RegSupreme will operate with hardware and/or 
  239. software not provided by Macecraft Software. This disclaimer
  240. of warranty constitutes an essential part of the agreement. Some states
  241. do not allow the exclusion of implied  warranties, so the above exclusion
  242. may not apply to you, and you may have other rights, which vary from
  243. state to state.

  246. 10. LIMITED LIABILITY
  247.  
  248. The entire risk as to results and performance of RegSupreme is assumed
  249. by you. Under no circumstances will Macecraft Software or they licensors be liable
  250. for any direct or special, indirect, incidental, exemplary or consequential
  251. damages of any kind or nature whatsoever, whether based on contract,
  252. warranty, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise,
  253. arising out of or in any way related to RegSupreme or this agreement,
  254. even if the Author or his licensors have been advised of the possibility
  255. of such damage or if such damage could have been reasonably foreseen,
  256. and notwithstanding any failure of essential purpose of any exclusive
  257. remedy provided in this agreement. Such limitation on damages includes,
  258. but is not limited to, damages for loss of goodwill, lost profits, loss
  259. of data or software, work stoppage, computer failure or malfunction or
  260. impairment of other goods. In no event will the Author or his licensors
  261. be liable for the costs of procurement of substitute Software or services.
  262. in addition, in no event will the total liability of the Author in connection
  263. with this agreement or RegSupreme exceed the actual amount paid to the
  264. author, if any, for RegSupreme giving rise to the claim. You acknowledge
  265. that RegSupreme is not designed or licensed for use in on-line equipment
  266. in hazardous environments such as operation of nuclear facilities, aircraft
  267. navigation or control, or life-critical applications. The Author expressly
  268. disclaims any liability resulting from use of RegSupreme in any such
  269. on-line equipment in hazardous environments and accepts no liability in
  270. respect of any actions or claims based on the use of RegSupreme in any
  271. such on-line equipment in hazardous environments by you. For purposes of
  272. this paragraph, the term "life-critical application" means an application
  273. in which the functioning or malfunctioning of RegSupreme may result directly
  274. or indirectly in physical injury or loss of human life.

  277. 11. DISTRIBUTING
  278.  
  279. Trial version of RegSupreme may be freely distributed provided
  280. that it is not modified in any ways and that the original distribution packages
  281. remain intact with all accompanying files, and provided that no fee is
  282. charged (except for any reasonable fees necessary to cover costs of
  283. distribution media), and that this license agreement is not violated
  284. in any ways. You are not allowed to include RegSupreme to any
  285. commercial CD-ROM or DVD software collection without a written permission
  286. from Macecraft Software.
  287. Macecraft Software reserves the right to deny you from distributing
  288. RegSupreme even if you haven't violated this license agreement.

  291. 12. RESERVATION OF RIGHTS
  292.  
  293. Macecraft Software reserves all rights not expressly granted to you 
  294. in this license agreement.

  297. YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS OF THIS LICENSE
  298. AGREEMENT AND THE LIMITATIONS OF YOUR LICENSE
  299. BY INSTALLING, COPYING, DISTRIBUTING OR OTHERWISE
  300. USING REGSUPREME. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT
  301. INSTALL, DISTRIBUTE OR USE RegSupreme IN ANY WAYS.
